Q: Do you believe in a trinity?
A: We believe that there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And of course, the bride of Christ, which is the church, is also joined as one to Christ.
Q: What bible do you preach from and why?
A: Our preference is the KJV of the bible. The language used in the KJV is layered line upon line and precept upon precept, tying scriptures together better, than later versions that use modern vernacular.
Q: Why study the bible?
A: The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Ps. 12:6-7
The holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness 2Tim. 3:16
Q: When and where do you have worship services?
A: We meet at 11:00 am on Sundays for worship service and on Fridays at 6:00 pm we have bible study. Currently we meet at 2918 west 34th street in Davenport.
